Neotame is an ultra-high-intensity artificial sweetener, approximately 7,000 to 13,000 times sweeter than sucrose. Chemically related to aspartame, Neotame is more stable and does not require a phenylalanine warning, making it suitable for individuals with PKU. It has a clean, sweet taste with minimal aftertaste and is used in very small quantities in food and supplement products.
